General Admission ticket

This is the basic ticket that gives you a one-night entry to this amazing night at the park.

You’ll get to experience every creepy corner, but heads up—as Halloween nears, the bigger the crowds.

If you’re a first-timer or looking for a simple taste of horror, then this ticket will work for you.

The General Admission ticket is budget-friendly and allows you to enjoy the park’s mazes and scream-filled rides.

As it is the most awaited event for horror fans, Halloween lines can get really long, especially for popular mazes, so arrive early to hit your must-see attractions.

After 2 pm, Day/Night ticket

Halloween is best enjoyed at night. So, here’s your ticket to spend the whole evening at the theme park.

This ticket permits you entry after 2 pm and grants same-day access to SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™ from 7 pm to 10 pm.

Halloween events begin at 7 pm, but you can get access to select haunted houses early after 5.30 pm.

To do so, you can simply buy an Early Access ticket for Halloween Horror Nights for an additional $10 at the park.

Please note that only the General Admission and After 2 pm tickets are available online. You’ll have to purchase all the other tickets at the gate.

Universal Express pass

This ticket is a solid choice if you want to skip the long, terrifying lines and dive right into your nightmare evening.

You’ll have plenty of time to enjoy all the Halloween-themed attractions and even squeeze in for some of Universal’s thrilling rides.

This ticket is a game-changer for anyone who hates waiting, especially on peak nights like Fridays and Saturdays.

While it’s a bit pricier than the General Admission ticket, it’s definitely worth the investment if you want to maximize the scares.

There’s something more: For an extra $40, you can upgrade to Universal Express Unlimited. The Express pass allows you to skip the line once per attraction, whereas Express Unlimited gives you unlimited skips for all attractions.

Another good news: With both the Express Passes, you can gain access to the SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™ from 7 pm to 10 pm.

The R.I.P. Tour is the supreme VIP experience for Halloween Horror Nights fans—it’s the best thing since sliced bread.

Yep, no standing around while you hear distant screams—you’re in, out, and onto the next maze before most people have even reached the entrance.

You’ll enjoy guided tours, front-of-line access to everything, and some exclusive perks like backstage access for a ‘behind-the-screams’ tour.

The ticket includes reserved VIP seating at a live show, same-day access to SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™ from 7 to 10 pm, and complimentary valet parking for one vehicle.

As a bonus, you can savor a gourmet one-hour dinner in the private VIP dining room (alcohol excluded, of course). For guests 21 and over, there are cash bar locations.

If you’re bringing kids, they must be at least five years old, and an adult must accompany those under 17.

This ticket is perfect for those horror fans who want an unforgettable night without worrying about crowds.

Fear Passes

Can’t get enough of the scares and screams at Halloween Horror Nights? Here’s your Frequent Fear Pass for up to 33 nights.

With this pass, you can just walk into the park throughout the season without buying individual tickets for each visit.

And honestly, one night is never enough for Universal Studios Hollywood, so this ticket is your best bet for experiencing more ghastly Halloween events.

Still not satisfied? There’s more. Buy the Ultimate Fear Pass that gives you unlimited entry every single night.

You can return for the creepy thrill as often as you want every night of the event.

This pass is your golden ticket for locals or anyone who wants to dip their toes into madness.

Pro tip: If you’re planning to visit frequently with family or friends, calculate the cost of buying individual tickets versus a Frequent Fear Pass. You might find that the pass saves you money after just a couple of nights.

How to Save on Tickets

Let’s be real: Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood does not offer many discounts, but there are still a few tricks to save some cash.

Halloween tickets go on sale from late August onwards, so the earlier you buy, the cheaper they’ll be.

As you may already know, weekends are the busiest at the park, so purchasing weeknight tickets is often more affordable.

If you’re going with a group, you might be lucky enough to gain some discounts.

As mentioned earlier, if you plan to visit the park repeatedly during the Halloween season, buying a Frequent Fear Pass would help you save some money.

It’s also wise to book early rather than wait for discounts or last-minute offers.

In fact, waiting for a better price can backfire, as tickets tend to get more expensive as the event approaches.
